Hearing Aids R Cool

You heard it here first. Hearing aids are now, by official proclamation, cool. Although losing your hearing is still a drag, hearing aids and other hardware don't have to be. Out of the dresser drawer and into the street!

MANIFESTO

1. If a good friend, or your spouse or partner, tells you you need a hearing aid, get your hearing checked. 2. Getting good aids and wearing them is necessary but not sufficient. It is the way we make a good-faith gesture to all the people we communicate with. It is, essentially, meeting them halfway.

About Me

kwren
I am from a family with hearing loss. We seem to lose our hearing in our mid-30's, and our minds shortly thereafter. Sometimes the order is reversed.
